Discover La Ripaudière
Restored to a high standard, La Ripaudière is a three bedroom traditional farmhouse. It sleeps six and is tastefully furnished and decorated. Plus there's a heated indoor pool and sauna complex.
Three spacious bedrooms
Upstairs there are three bedrooms. Two are Kingsize (both ensuite) and the third is cosy double (just by the master bathroom). The largest bedroom is in the beamed eves and can be configured for two single beds.

The House
La Ripaudière is a traditional house with a thoroughly modern twist. At one side is the original Norman granite fireplace with log burner. On the other is the indoor heated pool and large sauna. The pool area can be accessed from the house and has its own dedicated changing areas. On sunny days, large bifold doors can be opened onto the spacious patio and garden area. We have tried think of all you may need there including a large Weber BBQ. The pool has a swimjet for those who want to do more serious swimming. The living area is open plan with a fully stocked modern kitchen area. Adjoining the kitchen is a fully equipped utility room and cloakroom.
Other stuff...
The restoration brief was to make the house restful, complete and fun. Although we have a keysafe, a member of the welcoming team will greet you when you arrive, and there'll be someone on hand during your stay to answer questions or deal with any concerns.
The vaulted pool area provides a sanctuary in any kind of weather. The outside spaces were designed with privacy in mind, and the patio area is not overlooked. Next door is the British owners house, but Louise and Darren are rarely in residence. There is ample private off road parking (with E/V point).
La Riapaudière is very well connected - the Channel ferry ports of Ouistreham (Caen), Cherbourg and Saint Malo are just over an hour's drive. Le Havre and Dieppe are a little further. If you're not a ferry fan, Eurotunnel is just over 4 hours away.

It is in a lovely quite rural location, but the nearest village is only a short drive less than 10 minutes, which has a great little supermarket and wonderful bakery. When not relaxing at property in a lovely pool, we explored the local area, lots of great restaurants.”
